A woman from whom seven demons had gone out, who followed Jesus and provided for the disciples out of her means (Luke 8:1-3). She was present at the crucifixion (Matthew 27:55-56) and came to the tomb on the first day of the week; the risen Jesus appeared to her and sent her to tell the disciples (John 20:1-18). Her birth and death are not recorded; the bar reflects an estimate.
