A young man of Judah taken to Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar who served in the courts of Babylon and Persia (Daniel 1:1-6). His final dated vision came in the third year of Cyrus king of Persia (Daniel 10:1). This bar reflects his period of activity in exile.
