Rivkah

Rebekah

b. 2046 BC

The daughter of Bethuel and granddaughter of Abraham’s brother Nahor (Genesis 24:15,24), met at the well by Abraham’s servant and brought to become Isaac’s wife (Genesis 24:67). Isaac was forty years old when he took her (Genesis 25:20). She was barren until Isaac prayed, and she bore the twins Esau and Jacob when Isaac was sixty (Genesis 25:21-26). Genesis 49:31 records that she was buried in the cave of Machpelah, but the text states neither her birth year nor the year of her death; the bar reflects an estimate.

Approximate — birth year not stated in text
