Zecharyah

The son of Berechiah, son of Iddo, a prophet to whom the word of the LORD came in the eighth month of the second year of Darius (Zechariah 1:1). His dated visions and messages run from the second to the fourth year of Darius (Zechariah 1:1; 7:1). With Haggai he prophesied to the Jews rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem (Ezra 5:1; 6:14). His birth and death are not recorded; the bar reflects his dated period of prophesying.
